The older satellite images show that there was, at least at one point in time, some type of access road or trail connecting Government Camp and the little neighborhood around Summit Prairie Rd.

Wildcat Creek Road is the western most and the easiest way to access to the Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness directly from Highway 26 (Mt Hood Highway), compared to the Boulder Trail farther east which is moderate difficulty, and the Hunchback Mountain Trail even farther east which is very difficult.
35 mile loop by bicycle through Gresham, Troutdale, Marine Dr. Portland International Airport, Interstate 205, Johnson Creek, and back to Gresham, where I live.
